Prologue

The bolt of lightning strook Ummon Shadow, making him crash to the ground. The four knights of Saong Omyn gathered around his body in triumph, weapons unsheathed and ready to finish Ummon off. Rhyn starts to cast the incantation of 'The Last Rise', which will summon "Yn", the spirit of Air, whom will take Ummon's soul as a sacrafice.

An arrow whistles through the dense air, connecting with the rune crystal on Rhyn's staff, causing it to explode, unleashing a blinging light and a wave of energy that knocks the four knightsoff their feet. Sa-lam and Pomme scrabble to their feet and take positions to protect the body of Ummon as the Shadow warriors close in, to reclaim their lords body.

"That body is ours knights!" roared Anoy, "Hand it over and recieve a quick death or make us take it back the hard way and you will suffer".

Shabal, Anoy and Chime move in for battle. Chime notches another arrow and lets it fly towards Rhyn, who is still semi blinded by the explosion, and it rips into his shoulder. Anger and pain fill the sky as Shabal swirls in with his daggers for close combat with Leong and Sa-lam. Anoy and Pomme clash Battle Axe against War Hammer in a fight of strength.

The fight is unbalanced, even though the Knights out number the shadow warriors, they don't have Rhyn's magic to protect them and are inferior fighters without it.

Shabal spins with swift strikes of shade, slashing and piercing with incredible speed and accuracy, dominating his battle against two foes. Leong and Sa-lam are kept on the back foot as Shabal keeps on the on slaught with no sign of losing stamina. Leong is swinging his sword to parry the blows from the daggers, but has no chance to make an attack back. With the agility unknown to another man, Shabal manages to twist his body in a lunge and unleashes a death whirlwind combo that sends him into a frenzy and every strike of his dagger connects, shredding Leong and Sa-lam's armour and ripping into their bodies.

Knowing each others strength and relishing the fight, Anoy and Pomme square off, awaiting to see who will make the first move.

"Come on you bastard Anoy, I'll crush every bone in your body"

Anoy swing his axe in a wide arch, sending it screaming through the air at Pomme. The attack is parried and Pomme raises his hammer above his head to crash it down on Anoy, but his movement is sluggish and Anoy darts forward with his shoulder knocking Pomme off his feet. Anoy raisies the hilt of his axe and smashes it across Pommes temple, cracking his helmet and spliting his head open.

In the blink of an eye, the sun disappears and the world turns to darkness. The twinkling sound of the spirits grows louder and louder in the darkness, coming from every direction. The elemental spirits become visible, dancing through the black world surrounding the battle field. The elemental spirits Sa (water), Ong (fire), Om (earth) and Yn (air).................
